A Dream and A Dream Deferred

A dream comes true is
The pearl found in the deep of the sea
The flower in the desert
Water for desiccated fruit
Music to my ears
The sunshine after the storm

But when a dream is deferred
The pearl is an illusion in the sea
The flower is desiccated in the desert
The fruit is degenerated by worms
The music makes cacophony the sound
The sunshine never appears
